A Very Special Day!!

Our kids have an older brother and sister that were also adopted at the same time we adopted our kids by a couple who lives in Wisconsin.  Their brother, Luis, is now 16 years old.  Their sister, Sandra, just turned 15 years old.  Their brother and sister go to a Spanish speaking church and have kept up with all of their Spanish.  So, part of the community of their friends are all Hispanic.  Sandra decided she wanted to follow the Hispanic tradition of celebrating her 15th birthday with a Quincenera.  Her family had the ceremony and celebration at their church, and Sandra was beautiful!!!  Sandra and her family invited our kids to be a part of the ceremony, and it was such a special time for all five of our kids. We will treasure the pictures of them all dressed up together.  It is funny to think that the next time the kids are all dressed-up for a religious ceremony could be someone's wedding!
