One of our favorite family activities is roasting marshmellows and making s'mores in a fire pit we have outside. The best time is when it is nice and cool out, and you can then sit by a warm fire. The kids do a good job of being careful around the fire. In the midst of very busy days, it is a quick and easy way to spend a few minutes of family time together. The kids will never turn down candy, especially chocolate!
