The kids will start school on Monday and are getting excited. They will be going to a new charter school called Odyssey Preparatory Academy. With each unknown thing that happens, everything is a little scary. However, we are very excited about the school's philosophy and really think the kids will have a great year. The days will be long, but they will have every Friday off. School starts at 7:30 and ends at 4:00 Monday through Thursday. It is a uniform school, so we are all ready with uniforms, back packs, and lunch boxes. They will have P.E. everyday, band twice a week, and Spanish twice a week. Juan will be learning to play the recorder, which he is very excited about. He asks everyday when he will get his! The girls both want to play the flute. Lori played the flute in both high school and college, so we are really excited for the kids to learn to play an instrument. The kids can do marching band when they enter into 9th grade. This year, Juan will be in 3rd, Ingrid will be in 4th, and Angie will be in 6th grade.
