Merry Christmas!

As we work through all of the daily challenges that go along with older children adoption, it is special holidays like Christmas that we can look back and see how far we have come in a year.  Christmas is a huge holiday in our family, and we think that the kids enjoyed it more this year than last because they knew what to expect.  Being parents to older adopted children is so much harder than we thought it would be, but we hope overtime, their hearts will continue to heal.  The difficult times of their past will dim in light of the new love and life they have with our family.  Our prayer is that our love and guidance will lead our kids down a road of  more and more happiness, as we continue to celebrate special times together as a family.  We will look forward to celebrating Christmas 2013 and see all that our family has accomplished as we celebrate our third Christmas together.
